Welcome to Paul’s Tree Farm Home Page! We are located 15 miles West of Beloit, WI on the Beloit Newark Road.

We offer a large variety of Spruce, Pine & Fir. We have about 80 acres planted to Christmas trees of all sizes. Every Spring we plant new seedlings to ensure a future supply of Christmas trees. After the trees are about three years old, we start shearing them to give them a full conical shape. We work year around with our trees; planting, shearing, mowing, spraying, etc. to assure you will be getting the highest quality tree possible.

When you come to our farm to cut your Christmas tree, you will drive through 160 acres of Christmas trees, hardwood forest and farm land; on which there is an abundance of wildlife. Watch for whitetail deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, squirrels, pheasants, quail, fox & birds of all description.

Bring your whole family out and stay all day, if you would like to. Enjoy the outdoors and the family tradition of cutting your own Christmas trees. Don’t forget to bring your camera!

REAL CHRISTMAS TREES:  THE ENVIRONMENTAL CHOICE

By choosing a real Christmas tree over a fake tree for your holiday celebration, you are making an environmentally sound choice.

Real Christmas trees remove excessive carbon dioxide and other gases from the atmosphere, delaying the earth-warming “greenhouse effect” and producing fresh oxygen.

Christmas tree plantations create scenic green belts, stabilize soil, protect water supplies and provide refuge for wildlife.

And while fake trees cannon be recycled, real trees are easily reused.  Here are some post-holiday ideas:
bullet Christmas trees are biodegradable—the branches may be removed & used as garden mulch.  The trunk can be chopped for the same purpose.  More & more communities are launching mulching programs—check with your local department of public/works information.
bullet Large quantities of Christmas trees make effective sand & soil erosion barriers, especially at beaches.
bullet Sunk into fish ponds, trees make excellent refuge & feeding areas for fish.

bulletChristmas trees also make excellent bird feeders, adding color & excitement to the winter garden.  Attract birds with orange slices, suet & bird seed.  They will come for the food & stay for the shelter in the branches.

NOTHING SAYS CHRISTMAS MORE THAN A REAL TREE!

Caring For Your Real Christmas Tree

A Christmas tree is like a bouquet of fresh flowers.  It needs water.  Follow these simple steps to keep your Real tree fresh, fragrant and safe throughout the Christmas season:

1) Trees are thirsty!  To allow your tree to “drink” in the water it needs, make a fresh cut across the trunk about a quarter-inch from the end just before setting your tree up in the tree stand.

2) Put your tree in a water-bearing stand and make sure to keep water in the stand.  A real tree may use between two pints and a gallon of water a day!

3) If you buy your tree several days before it will be set up and decorated, store the tree in a cool, sheltered place like a garage, porch or patio.

4) Locate your tree away from heat sources: fireplaces, radiators, space heaters, TV sets.

5) Check over all electrical lights, cords and connections before you decorate the tree.  Don’t overload electrical circuits.  Do not use lights with worn or frayed cords.  NEVER use lighted candles or combustible decorations of any kind!

After decorating your tree, breathe in the fresh fragrance and enjoy your real Christmas tree!

Nothing Says Christmas
More Than A Real Tree!

The
Christmas
tree reminds
us of the Christ;
its top pointing to
heaven, its lights denoting
the Light of the World, and all
the presents beneath it reminding us
that every good gift comes from above.
Thanks
be to
God.
